The Twin Tiers is a stronghold of stock car racing history and die-hard race fans. The only thing stronger may be a good bourbon, and in celebration of NASCAR’s 75th anniversary, the first ever NASCAR branded whiskey has been released.

According to MotorSportSpirit.com, the NASCAR Bourbon Whiskey, produced by Citrus Distillers in Jacksonville, Florida, will be released in a limited edition 75th anniversary edition with only 40,000 bottles available. However while supplies of the anniversary edition bottle may be limited, the company hopes to continue distilling  NASCAR Bourbon Whiskey in the future.

According to Steve Shaw, northeast sales agent for Citrus Distillers, racing fans will want to get their hands on a bottle of this bourbon, which will be distributed locally by Saratoga Eagle, formerly Seneca Beverage, in Elmira.

  • Top Shelf – Wellsburg
  • Foster’s Wine & Spirits – Big Flats

Additionally, Shaw said that Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel and Bleachers Bar & Grill, also in Watkins Glen, will be carrying NASCAR Bourbon Whiskey just in time for the Go Bowling at the Glen at Watkins Glen International August 16-20.

Shaw added that a tasting event is planned for August 18th at Bleachers Bar & Grill. Anyone interested in getting more information about tasting events or other related questions is encouraged to contact Shaw via email at sdsentllc@hotmail.com
