TIOGA, PA – On Monday, July 24, 2023, around 2:35 PM, fire and EMS crews from Tioga, as well as Lawrenceville responded to a reported ATV rollover accident in Tioga Township.
The crash was reported along the Pieri Lane just off Mitchell Creek Road.
Early reports indicated that the ATV was on its side and one person was trapped underneath. A person at the scene had called 911 and reported the incident.
Fire personnel arrived on scene around 2:42 PM and reported that a UTV was on its side and off the roadway.
A short time later, the coroner was called to the scene as the individual involved in the rollover crash had passed away.
That section of roadway to Pieri Lane was closed at 2:47 PM as crews and Pennsylvania State Police continued in.
The roadway was finally reopened around 4:49 PM and all remaining fire units were able to return back to their stations.
