The Food Bank of the Southern Tier announced it has appointed a new President and CEO. Mark Bordeau is set to take over on August 14th, replacing Natasha Thompson, who stepped down from the position in February.
“With Mark at the helm, I am confident that the Food Bank will continue to thrive and make an even greater impact in our community,” said Karen Dehais, Diocesan Director and President of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Rochester.
Bordeau has experience in hunger relief and non-profit sectors. He also served on the Food Bank of the Southern Tier’s Board of Directors from 2009-2018. “The opportunity to lead an organization that is dedicated to combating hunger and making a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families is both humbling and inspiring,” said Bordeau.
Bordeau will oversee the organizations operations, strategy, and partnerships of the Food Bank.
