An Elmira man was killed after hitting a utility pole in the Town of Addison.
According to Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard, on Monday deputies and investigators of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a motorcycle crash on Beeman Hollow Road, in the Town of Addison.
Sheriff Allard says the operator of the motorcycle was identified as 56 year old Frank J. Stout of Elmira.
According to police, Mr. Stout’s motorcycle left the roadway and collided with a utility pole. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Steuben County Coroner.
The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office Collision Reconstruction Team processed the scene
and the investigation is ongoing.
