A Bath man faces animal cruelty charges after causing injury to a puppy.
Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on Friday deputies of the
Steuben County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a man dragging a puppy in Bath.
As a result, deputies arrested 31 year old Jamie L. Gould of Bath.

According to the sheriff’s department, it is alleged that Mr. Gould intentionally injured a puppy in his care. Gould also allegedly possessed a controlled substance as well.
Gould was charged with Torturing or Injuring an Animal and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree. He was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and released.
