HORSEHEADS – After steady rains throughout the night and into today, a section of I-86 was closed due to flooding in the area east of Latta Brook road in Horseheads. Water completely flooded the west bound lane and could be seen flowing to the east bound lane as well.
Emergency officials say the highway will remain closed off until the water recedes and DOT officials have a chance to assess the highway for any damages.
