HORNELLSVILLE – According to Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard, a Tennessee man was arrested following a 911 text report of a person with a gun on I-86.
As a result, 48 year old Sergio M. Allen, age 48 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee was arrested.
Allen allegedly placed another person in fear of injury by displaying a firearm, and illegally possessing a stolen firearm. He was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, a class D Felony, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree, a class E Felony, Criminal Possession of a Firearm, a class E Felony and Menacing in the Second Degree.
Mr. Allen was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and released.
Allard added that K9 Mac was used in this arrest to locate the weapon.
