Guns Reported Stolen After Home Invasion In Ridgebury

RIDGEBURY TOWNSHIP – Early Tuesday morning, August 22, 2023, Pennsylvania State Police responded to Monkey Run Road in Ridgebury Township for a reported home invasion.

According to police, around 12:45 AM two individuals entered the residence and held two male victims at gunpoint demanding to know where the firearms were kept. A struggle ensued resulting in a shot being fired, striking one of the victims in the foot. As a result, the victim sustained minor injuries. The suspects then fled on a motorcycle with four stolen firearms.

Among the guns stolen were: 12 gauge pump action/bare metal with wood stock gun, valued at $100.00, Remington Bolt Action, gray synthetic stock & Simmons Scope, valued at $100.00, Mossberg 22 Cal Black & red Rifle with pistol grip, valued at $100.00, Ruger Semi Auto 22 Cal Rifle (Black with wood stock), valued at $100.00 and an ammo can (50 rounds buck/slug), valued at $100.00.

The two victims were listed as a 26-year-old male of Gillett, PA and a 47-year-old male of Mansfield, PA. Police did not provide information on which male was shot in the robbery.
