BIG FLATS – On October 14th from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. the Arnot Mall Event Center is hosting a Celebrations of Cultures presented by the Islamic Association of the Finger Lakes.
Attendees will be able to take a “walk around the world” featuring displays for more than twenty countries such as Pakistan, Ghana, Egypt and Somalia to name just a few.
There will also be an opportunity to sample delicious foods, experience henna, learn about the art of calligraphy, kite- making demonstrations, and more.
This event is free and open to the public, but reversations are encourged. RSVP at events@iaflcenter.org. As a bonus, each name will be entered in a raffle to win fun prizes.
