State Police Investigate Fatal Crash In Dryden

DRYDEN – On Saturday at approximately 9:45 a.m., New York State Police as well as local EMS and fire departments were dispatched by Tompkins County 911 to West Malloryville Road in the town of Dryden for a report of a vehicle that struck a tree. 

First responders on scene determined that rear seat passenger, 35 year old Kimberly L. Anthony of Rochester did not survive. 

The driver, 38 year old  Cora-Su B. Brooks of Groton was transported to Upstate Medical University Hospital.  The front seat passenger, 29 year old Rochelle Landon of Ithaca was also transported to Upstate Medical University Hospital. 

Members of the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Collision Reconstruction responded to the scene.  A preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle was traveling northbound on Fall Creek Road when the vehicle exited the roadway and continued north and ended up striking a tree in the front yard of 4 West Malloryville Road. 

The investigation is still on-going.
