Missing Westfield Woman’s Car Found

WESTFIELD PA – The vehicle of a missing Westfield woman was found this weekend in a cornfield in Brookfield Township.

Phyllis Potter has been missing since July 21 and several search parties organized in an attempt to find her. However all attempts to locate the 85 year -old were unsuccessful.

On Saturday, a white Subaru Outback matching the description of Potter’s vehicle was found just off of the North Fork Road in Brookfield. A search party was organized however responding personnel were recalled by Pennsylvania State Police.

This morning a search was once again organized and human remains were located nearby, however at this time police have not positively identified the remains as Potter. An autopsy is scheduled to find out more.
