Westfield Man Charged With Alleged Assault On Infant

PORT ALLEGANY BOROUGH, PA – According to Pennsylvania State Police based in Coudersport, PA, a Westfield man is now looking at multiple charges five years after he sexually assaulted an infant back in 2019.

25-year-old Steven Baker of Westfield, PA allegedly sexually assaulted a female infant under the age of one between November 27, 2018, and April 27, 2019, in McKean County.

Baker was arrested on Thursday, December 14, 2023, after an investigation.

The following charges have been filed against Baker:

  • 1st Degree Felony of Rape of a child.
  • 1st Degree Felony – Statutory sexual assault: 11 years older.
  • 1st Degree Felony – Involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child.
  • 2nd Degree Felony – Incest of minor- under 13 years old.
  • 2nd Degree Felony – Sexual assault.
  • 3rd Degree Felony – Indecent assault of a person less than 13 years old.

Baker placed in the McKean County Jail on $225,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is set for Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the McKean County Courthouse.
